The Role As a Analytics Engineer you will offer the full kit of broadband, TV, mobile and landline and work to equip the customers with the very latest technology. In this role you will use cutting edge technology on GCP Big query and DBT to build world class data models to surface data to the company. You will work in a team of Analytical engineers where you will be challenged every day to create new data models that will help visualization team to create decision making dashboards for Directors. Key responsibilities: Build, support and develop DBT. Maintain data models and data products to service API’s and help analyst and visualization teams to be as self-sufficient as possible without needing to worry about the data infrastructure, data transformation and data quality processes. Work collaboratively with data engineers on infrastructure issues, such as permissions, accounts, setup, architecture. Build/maintain environments on DBT for all other teams. Work within a continual improvement process. Help maintain product catalogues, documentation and linage. Work with visualization developers to align with the modelling process / structure to keep the data quality to the highest standard and consistent. Your Profile Essential skills/knowledge/experience: Strong SQL knowledge GCP Big Query DBT (Data Build Tool) Gitlab Good communication skills Agile way of working Desirable skills/knowledge/experience: Knowledge of Visualization tool like Tableau. Worked in a high data volume environment Have experience in Data Modelling including working with deformalized data structures, testing, asserts and data cleansing.
