We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Coordinator who strives to be the best and shares our core values: Accountability, Communication and Teamwork. This position will be based out in Bedford, NS.
Responsibilities:
1. Assist Project Managers with obtaining building permits, updating project schedules, product research and maintaining drawing logs.
2. Review all tender documents, project drawings and specifications for assigned projects.
3. Help manage or initiate various project components including: contemplated change orders, site instructions, requests for information, project notices, deficiency lists and payment approvals.
4. Supervise or assist with supervision of assigned site operations including management and maintenance of all regulated and corporate site safety policies.
5. Participate in site meetings.
6. Track and assist with forecasting materials and other project costs.
7. Order construction materials, equipment and supplies.
Requirements:
1. Have a minimum of 3 years’ project coordination / management experience with a general contractor.
2. Possess relevant college diploma (i.e. CMT, AET or Engineering) or equivalent combination of training and project coordination/management experience with a general contractor.
3. Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills and able to work under pressure.
4. Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications.
5. Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications.
6. Experience with Procore and Jonas management software would be considered an asset.
7. Hold a valid driver's license and have own reliable transport, as regular travel between job sites is an essential part of the role.
