Renfrewshire Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP) is seeking to appoint to a critical role of Operational Manager within Renfrewshire’s Health and Social Care Services based within the RAH.
Renfrewshire HSCP has a reputation for ambition in improving the quality of services we provide. You will be joining us at a particularly exciting time as we renew and develop our services to meet the current and changing needs of adults & older people in Renfrewshire.
You will be responsible for the daily operational management within the RAH along with supporting the strategic development of services. You should have experience of working with relevant legislation and managing adult support and protection work. A knowledge and understanding of budget management and skills in evaluating service demand and constraints, and how you will overcome these challenges.
This position suits someone with the experience of managing Hospital Discharge and delivering safe & high-quality services, whilst managing increasing service demands and managing change. You should also have experience of managing & leading multi-disciplinary teams. You should have knowledge of ICT and information systems across health and social work.
It is essential that you have an appropriate professional qualification, you must be educated to degree level in social work or health equivalent, e.g BA hon’s in Social Work. You should also have effective leadership skills with a proven record of successfully managing change and adapting to rapidly changing circumstances. Combined with written and verbal communication skills, you will also have effective interpersonal skills to facilitate effective communication with people at all levels as well as effectively motivating staff and managing conflict.
