This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in Wills, LPAs, Probate, and Trusts who is confident in handling their own caseload and building lasting client relationships. Strong communication skills are essential, as you'll be engaging with clients and stakeholders over the phone, via email, and in person. Assisting the Team Leader in processing probate client files. Supporting the preparation of estate accounts and inheritance tax forms. Drafting Wills and Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA) documents. Attending client appointments. Handling enquiries that require legal knowledge. Supporting departmental marketing activities, including attending networking meetings, writing articles, and other promotional work as required. Ensuring relevant website content is accurate, up to date, and legally compliant. Attending training courses, conferences, and seminars to maintain professional knowledge and complete required training. Delegating tasks to Business Support staff where appropriate. Providing financial information to the Senior Management Team upon request. Conducting the required number of file reviews per month. Accurately recording all chargeable and non-chargeable time. Closing files in accordance with the firm’s procedures and SRA requirements. Maintaining Lexcel standard requirements by keeping departmental procedures and relevant client letter templates up to date. Ensuring compliance with the firm’s policies, procedures, and office manual, including adherence to employment policies, anti-money laundering regulations, IT usage guidelines, health & safety standards, and client care protocols.
