Job Duties:
The Part Time Reception Teacher BR1 will be responsible for delivering high-quality educational instruction to young children in a reception class setting. Duties include developing lesson plans, implementing engaging teaching methods, assessing student progress, and maintaining a positive learning environment.
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience working with young children in an educational setting
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively manage a classroom and adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate qualification in Education
- Specialisation in Early Childhood Education
Working Conditions:
The Part Time Reception Teacher BR1 will work in a school setting, collaborating with other teachers and staff members. The role may involve occasional participation in parent-teacher meetings, professional development workshops, and extracurricular activities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
