Our client is currently recruiting for an experienced utility surveyor and the role would involve carrying out surveys at sites throughout the UK and beyond.
Conducting utility surveys using modern survey methods and devices
Resolving any unexpected site issues and seeking help from the team and management when required
Accurately recording surveying information on-site to the agreed specification and scope
Building and maintaining client relationships and ensuring that we deliver to our client's expectations
Assisting with detailed field and office surveying assignments
Checking the quality of information collected on site and ensuring a successful transition to deliverables
Mentoring and training junior surveying staff as required
Delivering to company policies, procedures, standards, and best practices
Carrying out any other duties as required by the businessRequirements
The successful candidate will have:
2 years of experience in the utility surveying industry with a strong understanding of PAS 126 standards
Strong understanding of using total stations, GNSS receivers, and utility markers
Proficient in the creation of written survey reports, permits to dig, manhole, and inspection chamber record cards in accordance with PAS128
Excellent communication skills and experience dealing with clients
Flexibility to work away from home for periods and accommodate various shift patterns when required (such as night shift etc)
A full UK driving license
