Please note this is a fixed term position for 18 months Working hours: 15 hours per week Working details: Working Tuesdays, Wednesday and Thursdays Would you like to be responsible for the operational delivery of Community Gardening activities at The Salvation Army, Grimsby Corps, to support the successful delivery of the mission to the community? Key Responsibilities: Coordinate activities for the community garden in the Grounded Garden Project, effectively supporting community volunteers and The Salvation Army's mission. Demonstrate a professional and caring manner when interacting with programme participants to create a welcoming and supportive environment. Fill out any necessary paperwork to keep accurate records. Make sure to network with volunteers effectively. Help plan and review programmes and activities to improve and develop community involvement and ensure they meet the changing needs of the Church, Cafe, Booth Lifehouse and local community. Key Attributes: The ability and willingness to show compassion and understanding to all programme participants. Good experience of successfully delivering community garden programme to a diverse range of participants. A good level of English – both spoken and written - and numeracy required to enable you to fulfil all duties of the role.
