Job Details:
Salary Range: £25,628 - £28,326 per annum plus enhancements for unsocial hours including Sundays and double time plus time off in lieu for Bank Holidays worked. Bonus of £2,000 payment on your 3-month anniversary, and a further £2,000 at 12 months and then annually thereafter.

The Role

Joining us a Chef Manager you’ll have full operational responsibility for the catering service, focusing on creating great tasting, high-quality, nutritious food for our residents. You’ll use your flair, originality and knowledge of a variety of special dietary needs to plan and cook imaginative, well-balanced and flexible menus.
As a key member of our management team, you’ll be involved with the recruitment and development of your catering team and will strive for continuous improvement and excellence, for the benefit of our residents.

With experience of supervising and training others in a similar environment, your strong communication skills will help you lead, inspire and support your catering team so they are motivated and equipped to be efficient, flexible and organised. You’ll also be able to expertly manage and control your catering budget and oversee the efficiency of all the catering operations.
As a Chef Manager you’ll need an excellent understanding of food hygiene and health and safety regulations, together with allergen awareness and its practical application. You’ll also have recognised Level 2 (or higher) catering qualifications.

This role does involve some weekend and bank holidays working, for which enhancements are paid.
