Join us at Accrington Vets for Pets and we will help you develop your career and pursue any area of interest with plenty of guidance and support.
Our caseload is everything you would expect from an established general practice, offering you plenty of variation and with a large proportion of insured clients you’ll have the ability to work cases up fully. We aim to keep as much in-house as possible so welcome visiting specialists, but we would love to bring these skills in-house and will support any desire to do so. This is a great opportunity for you to get stuck into a growing business and maintain those valuable bonds with our clients.
You’ll be joining a passionate, inclusive team who share a good sense of humour and a love of cake! There’s a wide range of knowledge from general practice and referral to front-of-house, and our nursing team have over 40 years’ experience. We strive to provide our clients the best veterinary care for their fur babies. So, if you share our values, we’d love to have you on our team!
This position is full time with weekends on a rota basis to keep it fair for everyone, with time back in lieu and no out of hours. You should have small animal experience gained as a general practitioner, and great people skills. You will be comfortable with sole charge but will also relish being part of a team.
As standard, in addition to a salary up to £65,000 + £5000 Relocation/Welcome Bonus we offer all the benefits you’d expect from a major employer (pension, healthcare, paid memberships etc.) plus a few more, such as excellent career progression and exclusive lifestyle and shopping discounts (up to 30% off at Pets at Home). We’re also happy to provide relocation packages from within or outside the UK, including visa sponsorship if needed (we’re an A+ rated sponsor).

Pets just see people. And just like pets, we embrace everyone’s differences. We work to break down barriers, attract and develop diverse talent, and create a culture that allows everyone to be the best they can be.
Our diversity and inclusion vision is that everyone is welcome and feels part of our group. So, if you think you’re a good match to what we are looking for, and you share our belief that together ‘we’re better with pets’, we’re waiting to hear from you, whatever your background or circumstances.
