We are seeking an experienced Senior/Principal Water Resources Management Expert to provide consultancy advice on water resource projects, strategies, and management issues across Ireland. This role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and engaging with clients, including public agencies and private sector stakeholders, to deliver sustainable water resource planning and management solutions. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of Ireland's water resource sector, regulatory frameworks, and planning legislation.
Requirements:
* Degree (Level 8/9) in a relevant field; postgraduate qualifications (Level 9/10) preferred.
* Minimum of 10 years' experience, with a background in consultancy work.
* Chartered or Fellow status with CIWEM or a similar professional body preferred.
* Proven technical expertise in water resource planning, modelling, and strategy development.
* Demonstrable experience in business development, client engagement, and proposal writing.
* Familiarity with water supply-demand balance calculations, drought planning, and risk management.
* Full Irish/EU driving license.
Responsibilities:
* Lead and contribute to water resource planning and modelling projects, including regional and national plans.
* Provide technical expertise and leadership in delivering sustainable water resource management solutions.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated services to clients.

* Represent the organization in professional and public forums, demonstrating high integrity and commitment to sustainability.
