VMS Automotive operate nationwide with workshops and vehicle hire sites throughout the UK with our Head Office based in Stevenage and our Operations centre based in Bury St Edmunds. As a result of our continued growth, we are looking for additional team members to join our team to help us continue providing outstanding service to our customers. The Role: Development of an ambitious, quantified and robust business development plan to maximise new and existing client sales opportunities across our diverse vehicle hire service offering in the region Application of strategic, structured sales techniques to identify and secure new business development opportunities with both blue chip corporates as well as SME accounts Utilise the Salesforce CRM system to build a robust sales pipeline for the region Utilise effective account management disciplines to exploit organic sales growth opportunities as well as contract renewal business with existing clients Deliver agreed sales revenue targets within agreed margin parameters Collect and report industry (including competitor benchmarking) knowledge and marketplace analysis / developments to better inform the continuous development of our service offerings To further promote the VMS brand and our USP’s Ensuring regular senior-level customer decision-maker contact, underpinned by customer service excellence Lead and manage appropriate tender activity in the region To be successful in this role you will: Ideally have a proven background with the commercial vehicle hire / fleet management sector Have undergone appropriate structured / strategic sales development training Be extremely driven, tenacious and have the ability to work autonomously Commercially astute and motivated to deliver against revenue targets Demonstrate exemplary communication skills - written and verbal Benefits based on role: · Competitive Basic Salary exciting commission structure · Company Car (including Fuel Card) · Mobile Phone · Laptop If invited to interview, you will need to provide as evidence of your right to work in the UK, the following documents: Passport (plus Gov.UK share code confirming eligible to work in the UK if non UK passport) Driving licence/CPC card/Digi card You may also be required to provide us with a Driver Licence check share code Proof of Address x 2 OR Birth Certificate and National Insurance Number on an official document.
