Job summary We are seeking for a number of skilled and compassionate staff nurses to join our dedicated Children and Adolescent Mental Health Services at Forest House. Forest House is a 14 bedded inpatient unit for young people suffering with emotional, behavioural and psychiatric problems. The unit offers young people a 24-hour, 7 day a week service, assessing, treating and evaluating care through a variety of therapeutic techniques, family work, individual work, group work and the day-to-day milieu. As a Staff Nurse you will have excellent communication skills, an empathetic listener and be able to work independently as well as part of a team. You will have the opportunity to lead a nursing staff team in the absence of the Charge Nurse and support the Charge Nurse / Team Leader to ensure that the service is managed effectively and efficiently in all aspects. Due to the nature of the role, you will be required to work on site.
