Job summary Applications are invited for the post of Speciality Doctor, Community Paediatrician for Shropshire Community Health NHS Trust (SCHT), based in Shrewsbury. The post holder will be based at Coral House, Shrewsbury with clinical sessions at various outreach clinics. Main duties of the job You will be carrying out child development/neuro disability work within a friendly, passionate team dedicated to providing high quality care for our patients. There are no acute on-call commitments. Opportunity to develop specialist interest speciality will be encouraged. The post holder will be expected to work closely with Community Nursing Staff, Allied Health and Education Professionals and Social Workers. Participate in a week-day 9 am to 7 pm Safeguarding Child Protection on-call rota. This is supported by regular Child Protection Supervision and Peer Review. Frequency would be 1:6, no bank holidays. Good co-operative and joint working is in place across disciplines and between all local Health Trusts.
