If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you The IT Helpdesk Team Leader Role: We're on the lookout for an IT Helpdesk Team Leader to take charge of a dynamic support team, ensuring seamless IT operations across multiple UK sites. Reporting to the Infrastructure Manager, you'll split your time between team leadership and hands-on IT support, driving efficiency and customer satisfaction. What You'll Be Doing as the IT Helpdesk Team Leader: Lead & Motivate: Manage IT support technicians, assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide feedback. Helpdesk Management: Oversee ticket queues, prioritise incidents, and escalate when necessary. Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot complex issues, guiding the team to swift resolutions. Service Improvement: Identify trends, improve processes, and enhance helpdesk performance. Hands-On Support: Install, configure, and maintain hardware, operating systems, and applications. User Support: Assist staff in person, remotely, or over the phone, resolving technical challenges. Network & Systems: Manage Active Directory, Office 365, Microsoft Azure, and networking solutions. Tech Advancement: Stay ahead of the latest IT trends and contribute to technology rollouts. What You'll Need to demonstrate as the IT Helpdesk Team Leader: Experience in a similar IT support or helpdesk role. Strong leadership skills with a proven track record in team management. A customer-focused mind-set with excellent communication skills. The ability to prioritise workloads and think logically under pressure.
