Reporting to the Office Manager, you will contribute to the efficient functioning of the local office. You will fulfill all tasks required to ensure the smooth execution of the sales plans as well as providing excellent customer service for the local contacts and, when appropriate, for all group contacts.
The Sales Assistant’s role:
Answering incoming requests for an optimal customer experience
* Answering all incoming requests through our CRM
* Issuing prompt and accurate quotes using our ERP
* Accurate and timely entry of orders in the ERP
* Keeping customers’ records updated in the CRM: relevant information, interactions, and documents
* Ensuring the best possible customer journey through smooth coordination with both the local team members and other departments
Supports running of the local office
* Assists the Office Manager in duties related to office administration and housekeeping
* Follows up on customer invoices, enters customer payments, and general accounting documents in the ERP and relevant databases
* Identifies needs for improvement or training and reports these to the Office Manager
* In some cases, the Sales Assistant can support the Office Manager with duties relating to trade agreements and other tasks as required
* Supports the sales team through actions discussed with the Office Manager
This position is located at our UK office, in Werrington, Peterborough. Home working is possible in compliance with our company guidelines.
