The ideal candidate is a proactive leader who understands how to set the agenda, create and implement a clear strategy, and drive results. With a deep understanding of content marketing, SEO, and the fast-paced news cycle, you will be instrumental in developing a compelling and commercially impactful editorial presence. This role requires someone with the expertise and confidence to independently strategize and execute, ensuring our news section becomes a leading voice in the affiliate gambling industry. Responsibilities Develop and execute a clear, actionable strategy and editorial calendar for the news section, aligned with company KPIs and strategic goals. Identify, source, and prioritize newsworthy topics related to the casino industry, including legislation, bonuses, promotions, and market trends. Edit and publish articles promptly, ensuring alignment with commercial goals, strategic priorities, and accuracy standards. Build and manage a network of freelance and in-house writers, overseeing content briefs, feedback, and invoicing processes. An existing network of casino writers or industry contacts is a strong plus. Source and analyze data to identify content opportunities and measure the impact of published Optimize articles for targeted keywords using SEO best practices to maximize organic reach and engagement Maintain a consistent tone, style, and quality across all published content, ensuring alignment with brand Stay updated on the latest industry news, legislation, and competitive content strategies to inform editorial planning. Requirements At least 3 years of experience in writing, editing, and strategizing digital content, ideally within the affiliate marketing or gambling industry Journalistic background or experience working on a news Strong interest and knowledge of the gambling and casino industry, with a focus on casino games, bonuses, promotions, and legislation Demonstrated ability to create and implement news content strategies that achieve measurable Proven experience managing writers, including briefing, feedback, and workflow Exceptional editing skills with a meticulous eye for detail, tone, and accuracy Understanding of SEO principles, conversion-oriented copywriting tactics, and experience optimizing content for organic performance Hands-on experience with content management systems and publishing Proficient with tools for crafting copy, transcription, and improving workflow Familiarity with SEO and digital marketing tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, or Ahrefs.
