Job Title: Mortgage & Protection Administrator
Reporting to: Administration Manager
Purpose of the Role: Provide efficient administrative support to advisers, ensuring applications for mortgages, protection, and general insurance are processed accurately, promptly, and compliantly.
Key Responsibilities
General Duties:
* Maintain a professional image to uphold the company’s reputation.
* Communicate effectively with clients, advisers, and introducers.
* Build strong working relationships with advisers and external partners.
* Assist senior management with ad hoc tasks as needed.
* Adhere to company procedures, guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
Mortgage Processing:
* Manage mortgage applications from submission to legal completion.
* Ensure applications are accurate and include all required documentation.
* Communicate with lenders, solicitors, and clients to resolve queries and track progress.
* Maintain detailed and up-to-date case notes for compliance.
Protection Processing:
* Oversee protection applications to policy approval.
* Liaise with providers, clients, and medical practitioners to avoid delays.
* Confirm policies align with client preferences and compliance requirements.
General Insurance Processing:
* Process insurance applications to policy approval.
* Work with providers to ensure timely issuance and accuracy.
Compliance & Customer Care:
* Ensure all applications meet regulatory and company standards.
* Maintain accurate records for audit purposes.
* Support a culture of Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) by ensuring processes align with customer needs and recommending improvements where needed.
Key Skills:
* Strong attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and organizational skills.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
* Knowledge of financial or insurance products (desirable but not essential).
