Employment Solicitor - NQ Leeds Think Legal Recruitment are working with a Top 50 Law Firm who are looking for a junior Employment Lawyer to join their busy employment practice in Leeds city centre. This is a fantastic role for an ambitious junior employment lawyer looking to cut their teeth at a leading national practice under the guidance of a highly regarded Partner dealing with high quality and complex matters. The role is ideally suited to those around NQ-2 years PQE who want to work on a respondent caseload dealing with both contentious and advisory employment work/advice. Your background will be that you have done at least one seat in respondent employment law at a recognised regional, national or specialist boutique practice. Recent and ongoing changes in employment law means that it is a particularly busy time for the department as they advise a wide range of clients on all employment law matters from defending employment tribunal proceedings on matters like discrimination, unfair dismissal, unlawful deduction from wages and non contentious work such as employment handbooks, policies and contracts. The client base is excellent here with the firm acting for national and international blue chip household names as well as strong Yorkshire based firms too. The firm is well known for balancing the quality and depth of work with a good working environment for it's lawyers and the Partners who lead the team here in Leeds are approachable, supportive and want to develop their junior staff to be the best employment lawyers they can be.
