It is an exciting time to join the paediatric team at Walsall due to the expansion and progression of our service. The paediatric team is leading the way in progressing virtual wards and a new team structure is creating a new dynamic way of team working. The paediatric department comprises of: 21 bedded-inpatient ward, 12 bedded PAU, Surgical day case unit, A Paediatric virtual ward, Children Community nursing team Children's Outpatients department.
