The VacancyAs Technical Engineer you will be responsible for preparing accurate, competitive and detailed technical quotes for our customers.Key Responsibilities:Deliver quotes within set timescales to maintain companycustomer service targets.Prepare load assessments and load calculationsSpecify standard off-the-shelf products, and also custom-made items designed specifically for relevant projects.Prepare lintel calculations at the customerrequest to satisfy building control authority.Answer technical phone queries, whilst serving the customer with the highest level of technical and customer service.Periodic office and site visits to develop customer relationships and to measure up\/solve technical issues.Collate information and prepare clear and structured technical reports on findings from sitesSkills & ExperienceDegree educated from an Engineering-related discipline (eg Construction\/Building\/Structural Engineering)Knowledge of the construction industry is desirable (e.g. on-site experience)Experience of AutoCAD and Manufacturing drawings is beneficialExcellent communication and customer service skillsGood organisational skillsTarget driven & ambitiousThe CompanyPart of Keystone Group, Keystone Lintels is a market leading manufacturer of steel lintels.
