We are currently recruiting on behalf of one of Hampshire's leading and fastest growing Groundworks & Civil Engineering subcontractors.
Due to a continued period of growth into the Dorset & South West Region, they are now looking to add an experienced Contracts Manager to their team.
You will be responsible for contracts & personnel in the region ensuring smooth and efficient delivery of projects & client satisfaction.
Key responsibilities as our Contracts Manager will include:
1. Co-ordinate production of Pre-Construction information as required.
2. Ensure you and your site managers are operating in accordance with the Construction Management System (CMS) and carry out regular checks of the filing systems to ensure compliance.
3. Oversee the operational delivery of contracts ensuring the client's objectives are met and that high standards of Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality management are maintained.
4. Ensure safe working practices are always maintained, and you constantly reinforce safe working and our company values.
5. Lead the Site Managers, supporting them in the delivery of their roles.
6. Ensure relevant construction programmes are produced and maintained, including tender (where required), construction, target and weekly / monthly look-ahead as required by the individual project.
7. To ensure the establishment and management of an effective supply chain that meets the standards and governance set by the business.
8. With the support of the Q.S. ensure timely valuations and contractual procedures are met.
9. Ensure your contracts are working efficiently, using performance measures achieving the goals set out within the business plan.
10. Identify future clients and build relationships to help secure future work.
APPLICANTS MUST HAVE:
1. SMSTS
2. First Aid (3 day)
3. Minimum 5 years' experience in construction management.
4. Valid Driving licence.
