In this role, reporting to the Head of PR and Communications, you’ll take the lead on PR campaigns across both automotive and lifestyle sectors, as well as manage our social media and content creator initiatives. Your goal will be to effectively share the narratives, products, and ecosystem of CUPRA & SEAT, boosting brand reputation, increasing desirability, likability, and visibility with key audiences including the media, content creators, and the public.
What you could be doing:
* Conceiving, planning and executing appropriate lifestyle PR activities aimed at UK media and content creators.
* Leading the strategy for growing a passionate and engaged community of content creators, maximising the earned media value of the brand and drive interest across social media platforms.
* Identifying and delivering compelling, relevant news to UK media (both lifestyle and automotive), ensuring consistent media coverage and executing tactics with measurable results to demonstrate success.
* Working closely with Marketing colleagues on leveraging our brand partnerships and ambassadors to maximise coverage and awareness including across Padel, Music, Film and Motorsport.
* Managing journalist relationships, using judgement to handle challenging media enquiries and handling interview requests with senior UK and HQ management.
* Adapting the global PR strategy from our HQ in Barcelona for the UK and lead on all planning and execution at a local level including product launches and product PR campaigns.
* Leading production of press materials to support all international and UK PR events, including writing, editing and disseminating press releases and press packs.
* Effectively handling corporate issues that may have an impact on brand reputation and agree messaging with senior UK and international stakeholders, as well as managing content for the Brand Director’s LinkedIn.
* Managing PR agencies (automotive, lifestyle, and social) to ensure effective development and execution of campaigns.
