Join AQA in our newly formed Marketing Propositions team. We’re looking for two experienced propositions leads who can help us to shape the future of education, influencing the perception and behaviour of customers across the market.
The role
A key member of the team, you’ll leverage a deep understanding of market dynamics, customer needs and behaviour as well as organisational strengths to establish competitive positions for AQA’s products and services. Responsible for designing propositions and go to market strategies, your efforts will drive awareness and demand, ensuring we stand out. You’ll also identify and advance strategic brand partnerships that align with our business objectives.
Importantly, we’re looking for a marketing storyteller - not necessarily someone with a background in education. The right person will be skilled at synthesising complex information, creating clear and compelling narratives that live in the minds of our customers.

Full Job Description
Summary
To define and develop the Go To Market strategy for a given product, portfolio or customer group aligned to the overarching framework and in support of the qualifications strategy. Develop and evolve the proposition to meet customer and business needs and lead strategic projects as required.
Accountabilities
1. Define and develop the Go to Market Strategy for the given product or portfolio of products aligned to the overarching framework, qualifications strategy and customer standards.
2. Work with the Campaign Managers to support development of plans to deliver the strategy and proposition. Monitor the effectiveness of the Go To Market Strategy aligned to the review of the qualifications strategy.
3. Using customer and market insight to develop the customer proposition and the roadmap for your product(s). Identify customer and market research requirements to support strategy and proposition developments.
4. Work with colleagues in the Insight and Reporting team to commission customer and market research.
5. Establish and monitor KPIs and targets to support achievement of our strategy.
6. Working collaboratively with Lead Strategists and others across the business to support development of the qualifications strategy.
General accountabilities
1. To comply with all AQA’s policies and other legislative requirements, including but not limited to HSE, Equal Opportunities and ISMS.
2. Where business needs change, to undertake other responsibilities which are of a commensurate level outside the terms of this role profile.
