Hays Technology are supporting a public sector business in North Bristol to recruit a 1st Line Service Desk Analyst. The role is a 12-month fixed-term contract initially paying c£26,000pa and mostly office-based. You'll be eligible for an excellent benefits package including civil service pension scheme and 25 days annual leave.
Your new role
In the role, you will support end users with remote service desk software & application support and also support users face to face with hardware build, deployment and troubleshooting. You will escalate issues when necessary and provide excellent customer service skills.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for the role, ideally you will have similar IT support / service desk experience. However, if you have a customer service background and a passion for IT you may also be considered. IT technical troubleshooting experience is required and it would be beneficial to have experience across the M365 Suite, Windows operating systems, service desk support tools, mobile device management and varied hardware / desktop support experience.
