We are looking for a psychologist to work in the county with our team of psychology staff who work into the CMHTs. The location can be flexible.
We are keen to recruit someone with experience of supervision, specialist knowledge and skills of working with severe and enduring mental health difficulties such as complex trauma, psychosis, and personality difficulties. Equally important are leadership skills. We are looking for someone who can contribute at a senior level but we would also welcome interest from someone who may be looking for experience in a principal role as part of their career development.
Main duties of the job
Supervision and line management of a small number of psychology staff. This could be psychologists, psychological therapists, trainee clinical psychologists, or assistant psychologists.
A small caseload that would consist of assessments/intervention cases. There is already an existing waiting list of intervention cases; therefore, the proposal would be that the postholder could take on a number of cases where a clear and discreet piece of work has been identified.
Other activities to be agreed as and when they may come up if of potential interest to the individual taking on this role and within capacity.
