Jobstore are currently recruiting for a Hard Services Facilities Manager to be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and operations of our clients facility in Welwyn Garden City, ensuring a safe and efficient environment for all occupants.
This role requires strong FM leadership skills, mechanical and electrical knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
The Facilities Manager will need to be well experienced in Water Systems and L8 in and be able to work closely with various teams to maintain equipment, and implement best practices in FM Services.
Duties
* Supervise and manage the maintenance team, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
* Maintain all facility systems, including water systems and hygiene equipment, ensuring they operate effectively.
* Interpret schematics and technical drawings to troubleshoot issues and plan maintenance activities.
* Oversee project management for facility upgrades or repairs, coordinating with contractors and vendors as necessary.
* Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify areas needing attention or improvement.
* Implement preventative maintenance programmes to minimise downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, promoting a safe working environment for all staff.
Experience
