Job summary The post holder will lead on the delivery of the maternity recruitment and retention strategy and act as an expert on recruitment and best practice to deliver on the programmes of work related to Midwifery workforce, recruitment and retention. They will work closely with Midwifery Teams, working in partnership with Human Resource colleagues, the Divisional Directors of Nursing, Director of Midwifery, Corporate Nursing Quality, Lead Nurse for Internationally Educated Nurses & Midwives and Pastoral Care, Workforce Matron and HR. The post holder will lead on projects to develop new roles, innovative ways of working, and programmes to support the recruitment and retention of staff. Main duties of the job The post holder will work closely with the Practice Development and Professional Midwifery Advocates team, to enhance experience of work and promote retention in the maternity workforce for preceptorship, early career and late career midwives.
