Job Title: Front of House and Events Lead
Location: 62 Buckingham Gate, London; flexibility is required to attend other premises.
Hours: 08:00 AM - 5:00 PM (flexibility required for out-of-hours supervision)
Job Summary
The Front of House and Events Lead manages corporate services across MLP London offices, including the reception desks and Events, ensuring an efficient and comfortable environment for employees and visitors. This role requires a proactive individual with strong organizational and people management skills, capable of handling a dynamic work environment.
Principal Responsibilities
Reception Management:
* Manage and oversee the performance of receptionists across London offices, ensuring they provide excellent customer service.
* Develop and implement reception procedures and protocols to maintain a high standard of professionalism.
* Conduct regular training sessions for reception staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Event Coordination:
* Oversee and coordinate all internal events, including training, meetings, conferences, and corporate gatherings.
* Liaise with internal stakeholders to understand event requirements and ensure all logistics are effectively managed.
* Coordinate with external vendors and internal support teams to arrange catering, audiovisual equipment, and other event-related services.
Office Openings and Mobilisations:
* Assist with the setup and mobilisation of new office spaces, ensuring all necessary resources are in place for a smooth transition.
* Cooperate with the CSRE Project team, IT, and other departments to ensure office infrastructure is operational.
* Conduct site visits and inspections to verify readiness and address any issues promptly.
Standards Implementation:
* Aim for and implement the highest standards of reception and hospitality service across the portfolio, maintaining a consistent and professional environment.
* Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement.
Confidentiality and Security:
* Ensure the confidentiality and security of all corporate information and data, adhering to company policies and regulations.
Ad Hoc Duties:
* Handle other related projects and requests as required, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
* Perform ad hoc tasks as required by your manager.
Qualifications
* 5-10 years of proven experience in Front of House and Events
* Specific certifications or licenses related to hospitality, events management or facilities management would be beneficial
Requirements
* Proven experience in Front of House and Corporate Services/Office management
* Strong knowledge of building and Front of House systems
* Excellent problem-solving skills
* Detail-oriented and organized
