We have a fantastic opportunity within our Energy and Water business for an ambitious and talented Senior Project Manager – Overhead lines
Focused on the Energy Transmission Market in Scotland, our business is evolving to ensure that we remain a major player as the UK adapts to climate change and achieves carbon net zero.
The Candidate:
Degree, HNC/HND qualified in a relevant technical discipline and/or proven experience of working with Clients and managing contractors within the OHL industry.
Sound understanding and experience in the application of safety legislation and corporate safety procedures, DNO Technical Specifications & competences and CDM.
The successful candidate will have working knowledge and experience of at least some of the following areas:
* Tower foundations installation, all types, piled, buoyancy, pad and column types.
* Tower assembly and erection techniques for L2, L3, L4, L6, L8 & L12 suite of structures using cranes and Derrick methods.
* Conductor stringing techniques for single, twin, triple and quad bundled systems.
* Temporary mast/tower construction.
* General OHL Dismantling techniques.
Responsibilities:
The SPM Transmission will manage all aspects of Transmission projects including:
* Team mobilization and maintenance
* Commercial and financial
* Design management
* Procurement & supply chain matters
* Planning and programming
* Client interfaces
* Safety, Quality and Environmental
* Perfect Delivery
