Position: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Blackburn Primary School
Hours: Full-Time, Term-Time Only

Key Responsibilities:
- Support children with special educational needs in the classroom and during other activities.
- Help implement individual education plans (IEPs) and strategies tailored to each child's needs.
- Work alongside teachers and other staff to ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Provide one-to-one or small group support as required, fostering confidence and independence in our pupils.
- Assist with personal care and mobility if needed.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Experience working with children with SEN, either as a Teaching Assistant, Support Worker, or in a similar role.
- A caring and patient approach, with a passion for helping children succeed.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.

We understand that the skills and experience gained as a Support Worker can be transferred to a teaching assistant role, so if you have worked in care or support settings, we would love to hear from you!

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
