Job Title: Personal Tax Manager Location: Liverpool (Hybrid) Contract Type: Permanent We are recruiting a Tax Manager to join our clients' Liverpool office. This is an excellent opportunity to lead client engagements, deliver expert tax advice, support a thriving team within a dynamic and supportive environment. About The Role This role will see you: Manage a portfolio of personal tax clients, handling compliance and advisory services with precision and care. Collaborate with the Tax Director to deliver advice on UK income tax, capital gains tax, inheritance tax, residence and domicile matters. Identify planning opportunities during tax return reviews or other client interactions. Ensure deadlines and client expectations are met by working closely with your team. Mentor and develop junior team members, sharing your knowledge and expertise. Take charge of WIP management, including invoicing, cash collection and managing client expectations. Stay updated on technical and market developments to provide the best client outcomes. Support networking and business development efforts to grow the business. About The Candidate We are looking for someone that can: Delivery high-quality tax compliance and advisory services. Build strong client relationships, with proactive identification of opportunities for planning and advice. Be an effective team collaborator and mentor/ coach Offer sound financial and risk management, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. CTA qualified or equivalent (essential). Demonstrated experience in personal tax compliance and advisory services. Proven ability to manage client relationships, projects, and team dynamics. Solid understanding of risk management and financial controls.
