What you’ll do:
1. Prepare and present food to the notified standard, ensuring the ethos of Fresh Food from Scratch is followed.
2. Complete any administration as requested including food temperatures, cleaning schedules, delivery temperatures, stock takes etc.
3. Ensure that all food is prepared with due care and attention, particularly in regards to special dietary requirements, allergens and shelf life.
4. Ensure that the kitchen is maintained in a clean, organized manner and all food safety and health and safety policies and procedures are followed.
5. Complete all cleaning schedules to the agreed standard.
What you bring:
1. Awareness of manual handling techniques.
2. Awareness of Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations (COSHH) and chemical safety.
3. Experience of kitchen equipment.

Assistant Chef
35 hours per week
Monday- Friday
7.00am till 2.15pm
£11.00 per hour
Term time only
Free parking onsite
Meals provided whilst on shift
Access to gym (after school is closed)
Full training provided
Annual leave April - April 20 days per calendar year which increases with service
