Huxley Associates in partnership with Eni International are looking for a Subsea Network Engineer for various International locations including Milan and the UK.
The main purpose of the role is to support the Company Team during Project Development Phases in the engineering and detail design for the production network.
Additional responsibilities include:
1. Study and optimisation of development concept for subsea, deepwater and ultra deepwater projects with particular focus on production fluid deliverability and system operation.
2. Define subsea development scheme at system level and component level.
3. Review and approve the design performed by a Third Party Contractor (including specifications, reports, calculation notes, analyses, drawings, datasheets, technical notes) of deepwater systems like subsea production systems, riser flow line and umbilical system, ensuring that it meets project objectives, industry standards and best practice for safety, reliability and cost.
4. Monitor the Third Party Contractor performance.
5. Assist Company in R&D initiative with particular focus to architecture optimisation for subsea field development and implementation of new technologies like seabed processing (i.e. separation, pumping, compression).
6. Assist Company in development projects during feasibility, basic/FEED, detail and preparation of documentation to support tender phase for SPS, Umbilical, R&F, Installation work packages.
7. Assist Company in definition and management of interfaces between different subsea system work packages.
8. Involvement in subsea project design review.
9. Ensure consistency, quality and cost effectiveness of the project design, in compliance with International Standards, Project Specifications, Company guidelines and engineering best practices.
10. Ensure the performance, install-ability and operability of the subsea systems.
11. Select the best technical/economical solutions for the project.
The ideal candidate must be Degree educated with a minimum of 5 years Oil & Gas Industry experience on subsea system and network engineering.
Key competencies include:
1. Specialist Knowledge of subsea industry standards.
2. Knowledge of topsides and subsea interfaces.
3. Knowledge and experience with riser and flowline systems design.
4. Experience in preparing, reviewing and commenting on subsea system design and other related documentation (i.e. specifications, SoW, procedures, reports, drawings...).
5. Competency in process simulation and multiphase transportation software codes.
6. Construction & Installation: FAT Testing, Integration Testing, Installation, Offshore Installation Supervision, Plant construction, Inspection, control and testing techniques.
7. Project Management: Risk Management.
