TSA surveying are currently working in partnership with a Building Surveying Consultancy who are currently looking for an Associate to join their social housing division.
This is a permanent role which will involve working with Housing Asset Managers to deliver stock condition surveys, repair surveys, damp and mould surveys on social housing properties across the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and coordinate a team of surveyors, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
* Strategically plan and oversee projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
* Maintain professional relationships with clients and resolve their queries promptly.
* Serve as the primary liaison with the end client, a Social Housing Provider, maintaining strong and positive relationships.
* Identify and tap new opportunities in the form of clients.
* Prioritize work according to workload by exhibiting excellent time management and organizational skills.
* Work effectively in a team and follow given instructions and procedures.
* Supervise and lead the team in the absence of the partner.
* Work under pressure and meet targeted deadlines.
Technical Expertise:
* Comprehensive knowledge of the Decent Homes Standard.
* Proficiency with the Housing Health and Safety Rating System (HHSRS).
* Familiarity with Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs), though this is less critical.
Software Proficiency:
* Experience with SharePoint and Microsoft Office.
* Familiarity with asset management software, with minimal involvement in QA responsibilities.

Location: Remote (Though the client does have multiple offices across the UK - London, Birmingham, and Manchester).
