Position: Payroll Assistant (Hybrid) Location: Bury St Edmunds Contract: Temporary, 2 months (Immediate start) Working Hours: Monday to Thursday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM Friday: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM Hourly Rate: £15 - £18 (paid weekly) We are currently seeking a proficient and detail-oriented Payroll Assistant to join our team on an interim basis. This position offers the flexibility of hybrid working, combining remote work with on-site duties at one of the school sites in Bury St Edmunds. Key Responsibilities: Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll. Collaborate with the team to maintain payroll records and address any discrepancies. Provide efficient payroll support using the iTrent system. Candidate Requirements: Essential: Demonstrable experience with the iTrent payroll system. Preferred: Familiarity with payroll processes within the education sector. Strong organizational skills, accuracy, and ability to manage deadlines.
