We are seeking dedicated Child and AdolescentPsychiatrists who share our core values of commitment, trust,integrity, and kindness to join our growing team.About the Role:Asa Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist specialising in autismassessments for children and adolescents aged 5-18, yourresponsibilities will include:Conducting comprehensivedevelopmental histories using preferred methods/tools to evaluatechildren undergoing autism assessments.Conducting ADHDassessments.Observing the child/young person during sessions andensuring questions are asked in an age-appropriate andcompassionate manner.Reviewing ADOS reports, developmental history,and relevant collateral information from home and school in thesame session.Formulating a diagnosis, concluding the assessment,and providing feedback to the family in a kind, age-appropriate,and compassionate manner, including recommendations and signpostingto local/national resources.Collaborating with themultidisciplinary team (MDT) in cases where further information isrequired, and offering a separate follow-up session to conclude thediagnosis.Producing high-quality, detailed diagnostic reportswithin 48 hours post-assessment, adhering to DSM-5 criteria andreport templates.
