Shift Maintenance Role
We are seeking a skilled Shift Maintenance Engineer to join our team in South Lanarkshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out planned maintenance work and repairs to production machinery and equipment.
Key Objectives:
* Evaluate safety and reliability of the production process by conducting routine maintenance tasks, identifying equipment issues, and collaborating with the engineering team.
Principal Responsibilities:
* Maintain Health & Safety, Food Safety, and Hygiene standards at all times.
* Develop knowledge and familiarity with engineering requirements of production processes and machinery.
* Work collaboratively as part of a planned maintenance team to respond quickly to breakdowns.
* Complete planned maintenance work efficiently and effectively, identifying opportunities for improvement.
* Determine faults and take corrective action promptly.
* Support mechanical engineers and participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
Ideal candidates will hold relevant Engineering qualifications in electrical or mechanical disciplines. Experience in fast-paced manufacturing environments is highly desirable.
Working Conditions:
The role requires flexibility with shifts (4on, 4off - 7am-7pm / 7pm-7am) and 2 days/2 nights. Overtime opportunities are available.
