Job Opportunity: Production Coordination Team Leader
Location: Telford, West Midlands
Salary: £34,000 - £37,000 per annum
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Contract Type: Permanent
BCS Connect is proud to be recruiting for a Production Coordination Team Leader on behalf of our client. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and proactive leader to take charge of a dynamic production department, ensuring smooth operations and meeting key business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the supply of pressed parts to the paint plant.
Ensure daily picking lists are completed accurately and on time.
Collaborate with other departments to meet production priorities.
Maintain high standards of stock control and health & safety compliance.
Implement and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Lead, train, and motivate the team to achieve operational excellence.
Monitor performance and ensure adherence to plans and schedules.
What We're Looking For:
Proven leadership experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
Excellent communication and delegation abilities.
Computer literate with experience using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
Proactive, resilient, and adaptable to change.
Desirable:
Health & Safety qualification (e.g., IOSH Managing Safely).
Experience with lean manufacturing techniques (e.g., 5S, SMED, TPM).
Knowledge of HR procedures such as absence and performance management.
