As a result of an internal secondment, and to further strengthen this team, The De Parys Group are looking for two full time team leaders to join our Patient and Clinical Support team. This is a team of over 30 staff, and currently has 5 team leaders which we are expanding to 6. These are important roles for the practice and our patients, and are incredibly varied day to day – we have recently moved to a ‘total triage’ way of working and so one day you could be leading the triage team, another day you could be leading the team at our new flagship site at the Enhanced Service Centre where 3 of our former locations have recently moved to, and troubleshooting everything that goes with such a change. Both roles are full time, working 37.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday. One role would work 8am to 3:30pm, the other role would work 11am to 6:30pm – please tell us which role you are interested in on your application. Main objectives and job responsibilities will include: Ensure that staff in the department are consistently supported and led to facilitate effective communication with patients and other outside agencies. Dealing with patients over the phone and handling queries. Managing general enquiries, appointments and access to services. Processing test results. Ensure all sites are working consistently and to protocol. Report to PACS Manager all unplanned absences including sick leave. Oversee and provide leadership to all team members. Work closely with the other Team Leaders to provide leadership for all aspect of receptions role. Liaise with the PACS Manager to motivate, influence and manage the Patient and Clinical Support Team to provide an efficient, consistent and effective delivery of day to day patient support services. Monitor and record petty cash spend on business cards as required as agreed with Finance Manager. Liaise with facilities to report issues with building through the group email address. Project a positive, professional and friendly image to patients, staff and visitors. Ensure all PACS related policies and protocols are issued to PACS as agreed by the PACS Manager, to reflect best working practice across the sites (making best use of Clarity TeamNet). Provide a high standard of support and leadership to all members of the patient and clinical support team whilst supporting and working collaboratively with the line manager and other team leaders in the department. Report to PACS Manager all unplanned absences including sick leave. Ensure quarterly evacuation tests are carried out in accordance with instruction.
