PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
The Account Executive will help achieve maximum sales profitability, market penetration and growth within the United Kingdom and Ireland Data Integrity Market. This will be done by effectively prospecting to new target accounts and building existing accounts to meet Precisely’s rapid growth plans and expand our global presence as leaders in data integrity.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Learn, understand and convey Precisely’s products capabilities and benefits
2. Communicate Precisely’s value proposition to drive insightful client engagements across various business functions (i.e. IT Operations, Core Business Units, Analytics and Compliance)
3. Drive pipeline growth through effective prospecting and lead generation activities
4. Build and manage all stages of sales pipeline to consistently achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly and annual targets (prospecting through to deal closing)
5. Develop and execute actions and business plans to generate revenue for new business within assigned territory
6. Build and uphold a high level of client experience across assigned territory
7. Plan, execute and document sales steps utilizing Precisely’s CRM on a daily basis
8. Provide accurate forecasting and reporting to Sales leaders
9. Work closely with Precisely’s Pre-sales, Professional Services & Value Engineering teams to create compelling business propositions based on Precisely solutions
10. Contribute to market strategy by monitoring market data, competitive products and prospect feedback
11. Convey product feature requests to Product Management team
12. Deliver forecasting demand, client launches and revenue on an ongoing and consistent basis
ESSENTIAL EDUCATION, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:
1. Ability to build relationships at all levels with prospects, customers, partners and within Precisely
2. Excellent selling skills and the ability to close business
3. Self-starter with strong planning, technical and administrative proficiencies
4. Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills
5. Strong business and operations acumen especially within the insurance industry
6. Strong analytical, problem solving, and time management skills
7. Good business maturity, negotiating and decision-making skills
8. Basic to intermediate technical understanding of information and communication technologies concepts and architecture
9. Ability to accurately prioritize and manage time/resources for maximum efficiency and productivity
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
1. Bachelor's degree, Business or related field, or equivalent experience
2. Demonstrated experience (preferred 5+ years) in enterprise software sales
3. Experience in data management, applications, IT platforms
4. Understanding of some or all of the following software solutions areas: Data Governance, Data Quality, Data Observability, Enrichment data, Data Integration, Location Intelligence, Analytic Cloud Datawarehouse
5. An understanding of the Insurance industry, underwriting, Catastrophe modelling, reinsurance is advantageous.
