ITC Service is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated IT Apprentice to join its growing team. This apprenticeship provides a comprehensive training program designed to develop essential IT skills and industry knowledge. The successful candidate will work alongside experienced IT professionals, gaining hands-on experience in IT support and contributing to various technology projects.
In this role, you’ll work towards your IT Support Level 3 Apprenticeship delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.
A Typical Day in the Job:
* Answering customer calls and logging and raising tickets
* Fixing PCs, installing software, and troubleshooting issues
* Providing first-line service desk support via telephone and remote access
* Determining compatibility of hardware/software upgrades before implementation
* Utilising PowerShell for various tasks
* Hardware testing (HDDs, SSDs, RAM chips, motherboards, screens)
* Software testing before mass rollout
* Updating systems such as ConnectWise, Microsoft 365 / Azure
* Installing PCs, laptops, thin clients, servers, copiers, and networks
Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.
Salary, Hours & Benefits:
* Salary £16,000 Per Annum
* 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm
* Located on the Metro line (driving preferred; car parking available on-site)

Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge:

* Excellent communication skills and comfortable speaking with customers
* Strong problem-solving abilities
* Basic knowledge of IT hardware and software
* Grade 4/C in Math's and 5/C in English
