We're looking for a Stock Controller to join our team at Huws Gray Saffron Walden If you’re in the trade or have ever tackled a home improvement project, you’ve probably heard of us. We rely on our Stock Controllers to liase with the Branch Manager and support them to ensure our stock is held at the optimal level, making sure that it is in line with sales and stock budgets in order for us to provide excellent customer service. Here’s a quick overview of some of the things you can expect to do as a Stock Controller; Carry out quarterly rolling stock counts and end of year stock takes Carry out reviews of stock profiles including min and max stock levels, and make recommendations on changes where applicable, working with the operations, purchasing, sales and production teams to reflect changes needed. Investigate product and system issues and communicate findings and appropriate actions to be taken to improve working practices. Daily, weekly, and monthly stock analysis, including negative stock, outstanding sales and purchase orders, stock adjustments, suspicious stock figures, requisitions, and non-stock. Managing transport of vehicles distributing stock, some previous transport management experience would be an advantage Managing purchase ledger portal queries We realise that you are more than just a CV and embracing everyone’s individuality is what makes us great as a team.
