Company: Guy Carpenter Description: We are seeking a talented individual to join our Asia Pacific Team team at Guy Carpenter. This role will be based in London. In this role, you will support the renewal of reinsurance programs for (MGA) clients and carriers. You will cultivate strong relationships with carriers in the MGA sector to understand their needs, generate capacity from Lloyd’s to support Binders in the Asia Pacific region, and negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with Binder markets and reinsurers to secure favourable outcomes for clients. You will have access to world-class resources, including analytics, technology, product expertise, and a robust network to drive growth in this dynamic sector. We will count on you to: Ensure timely follow-up on contract documentation and facilitate the smooth flow of materials. Address client queries and concerns promptly, resolving issues effectively. Build and maintain strong relationships with reinsurers, clients, and colleagues. Stay informed about insurer and reinsurer capabilities, including product lines, capacity, and approvals. Demonstrate a keen awareness of market conditions to better serve clients and secure optimal terms. Document correspondence in accordance with GC procedures. Manage Binder and reinsurance placement details accurately and promptly via GC’s online portal (GC MarketPlace). What you need to have: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and presentation abilities. Proven business development experience. Strong project management and organisational capabilities. In-depth knowledge of the London Binder and (re)insurance market. Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, clients, and industry leaders at all levels. Discretion and integrity in managing potential conflicts of interest and handling sensitive information. Composure under pressure and the ability to meet tight deadlines. What makes you stand out?
