Prime Life are on the lookout for passionate and dedicated care professionals to join our friendly team as a Driver.
This role will be based at Lutterworth Country House, in the heart of Bitteswell near Lutterworth. The home has been specially designed to cater to the every need of 66 residents, living with a range of age-related, physical and mental health conditions that require dignified support from our caring team. Additionally, many of our residents are living with early onset and advanced stages of Dementia. It is essential that candidates for this role are therefore patient, understanding, and respectful of our residents’ individual abilities.

1. Hourly rates of pay ranging from £11.67 to £12.00 per hour dependent upon qualification level.
2. The driver must be over 25 years with a clean driving license and have been driving for 3+ years for insurance purposes.

Responsibilities of our Driver include:
* Driving the minibus vehicle.
* Responsible for the safety, comfort, and welfare of residents, relatives, and staff.
* Carry out daily and weekly vehicle checks.
* Carry out basic vehicle maintenance e.g., oil levels, cleaning, and refueling of the vehicle as required.
* Arrange the service and MOT of the vehicle when necessary to maintain basic working order and to prevent unnecessary deterioration of the vehicle.
* Report any vehicle defects, faults, incidents, and accidents.
* Be responsible for the maintenance of the emergency first aid boxes.
* Maintain the cleanliness of the minibus inside and out and ensure the vehicle is in a clean and roadworthy condition before and after use.
* Maintain accurate records of vehicle usage and accurate records of the residents using the service each day.
