Charnwood Borough Council in Leicestershire is searching for the latest member of the housing income team.
Would you like to help find real solutions for tenants in debt with their rent? Or perhaps, stop them from getting into arrears in the first place?
We are looking to recruit a permanent full time Housing Income Officer, someone with credit control or income management experience, someone who can strike the right balance between enforcement and support, someone who is performance-oriented and can rise to the challenge of maximising the council's housing rental income.
Having knowledge of welfare benefits, debt and money management, you will put these into good use managing a patch of around 1,160 mixed urban and rural properties. This is a varied role that requires you to build effective relationships with colleagues, other teams and external organisations as well as providing the opportunity to help people.
