Salary range and grade: Actual salary £9,367.50 - £11,827.50 per annum (based on £31,225 - £39,425 per annum) plus £1,500 per annum market supplement (based on £5,000 per annum) depending on qualifications and experience.

Hertford Regional College is seeking a highly motivated Lecturer in Engineering to teach on a range of programmes including Extended Diploma BTEC level and T-Level's.

About The Role
Successful candidates will be fully qualified teachers or willing to undertake training towards achieving a full teaching qualification and possess the relevant professional qualification in engineering. An example of teaching topics would be Engineering Principles and Electronic Devices and Circuits. Following the removal of the BTEC Qualifications, the Lecturer will be responsible for planning of the T-Level qualifications in Maintenance, Installation and Repair for Engineering and Manufacturing.
About You
You will display a passion for teaching and enjoy interacting and engaging with students. You will work collaboratively with colleagues whilst using your own initiative. You will have great interpersonal and organisation skills and be competent in using IT systems.
You will have teaching experience in subject specialism working within an FE or HE environment and hold a professional qualification in Engineering. A good level of Maths and English is required, and you should hold a teacher training qualification such as PGCE or DTLLS, or a willingness to complete in an agreed timeframe.
