Due to business requirements, we are now looking to acquire the services of an experienced Private Banking Officer to provide support to the Relationship Managers & ensure an exceptional service in Private Banking.
Please note that this is a hybrid position with 3 days working from the office & 2 days working from home.
Key Responsibilities:
* Respond and promptly treat client requests, queries, and enquiries.
* Provide general support to the Relationship Managers.
* General administrative support on client onboarding and retention, account opening, client screening & KYC documentation checks.
* Conduct effective KYB maintenance on existing clients ensuring updated documents are obtained and accurately filed.
* Manage the Term/ Premium Term deposits portfolio, ensuring all clients with maturing deposits are contacted and deposits rolled over promptly.
* Maintain accurate records for Wealth management trades via the Custodian.
* Provide first level Credit underwriting for the assigned portfolio of Mortgage /Wealth Management Clients.
* Prepare and distribute monthly reports and MI to other departments including Covenant Monitoring Report and Compliance Certificate.
* Monitor payment requests and prompt production of SWIFT confirmation for clients.
* Process third party vendor payments including the Custodian, Consultants, Surveyors, Solicitors, etc in a timely manner.
Key Skills/Experience:
* Previous experience within Banking or Financial Services.
* Strong customer service/client onboarding & maintenance experience.
* Excellent IT skills, particularly the Microsoft Office suite.
* Good technical skills, particularly in relation to Banking software.
* Strong attention to detail, quality & accuracy.
* Excellent communication skills both verbal & written.
* Strong presentation skills with the ability to report to & manage senior stakeholders.
* Strong drive for your own continuous improvement.
