Our major Japanese client, based in Glasgow, is looking for a Sales Administrator. • Provide comprehensive administrative support direct to the Business Development Director and Sales Team • Issue meeting invites and agendas, and circulate other information as required • Provide general administrative support to the Sales team • Act as a first point of contact for meeting visitors to the Glasgow office • Book meeting rooms as required and set up appropriately with adequate refreshments and office equipment • Work with the Office Administrator to monitor stationery levels and replenish stock as appropriate • Assist the Office Administrator with essential office tasks such as keeping the office tidy • obtain quotes and approval for the ordering of office equipment by liaising with relevant departments (i.e. Finance, IT etc.) • liaise with the office landlord/manager and reception concerning all facilities and maintenance matters Core Skills: • a self-starter, who is proactive and has a positive attitude • a flexible approach to work with an ability to multi-task and prioritise demands effectively • strong interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to confidently deal with employees of all levels and cultures in a professional manner • exceptional organisational skills and an ability to work independently and unsupervised• meticulous with a high level of accuracy• good problem-solving skills
