Responsibilities
Assist licensed surveyors in preparing for field surveys by obtaining necessary equipment and supplies.
Perform field measurements and data collection using survey instruments such as total stations, levels, and GPS devices.
Analyze field data and create accurate topographic, boundary, and construction survey maps.
Maintain and calibrate surveying equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability of measurements.
Prepare detailed reports and documentation of survey findings and results for review.
Collaborate with project teams to support land development and construction projects.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to surveying activities.
Requirements
Associate degree in surveying, civil engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in surveying, field work, or related technical positions.
Familiarity with surveying equipment and technology, including GPS and CAD software.
Strong mathematical skills and ability to perform calculations accurately.
Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration.
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and navigate different terrains.
