At Nescot, we are recruiting for a sessional lecturer in animal management to join a dynamic and committed team teaching a range of animal management courses from Level 1 to Level 5. Are you the special person we need to complement our already outstanding team in the Animal Studies Department?
What we are looking for:
You will have the ability to teach animal biology to our first Year Level Three Advanced Technical Extended Diploma students and be confident in delivering and assessing. Candidates should be innovative and pro-active in their approach to working with learners and have a commitment to further training and development as new initiatives evolve. You will be educated to degree level and able to deliver high-quality teaching and assessment to our learners across this outstanding department. Previous experience working and/or delivering on City & Guilds Technical study programmes is an advantage.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Your job will be to work with Further Education Level Three learners and to inspire them to reach their goals and achieve success. This role will involve both classroom and practical-based teaching and may include sessions on our Animal Care Unit. Working as part of a dedicated team, you will be experienced in motivating young people and adults to achieve the most from their time at college, and sensitive to your learners’ needs whilst enabling them to express and reach their true potential.
